Gave the last
calves that we had weaned a dose of Rispoval 4, The pneumonia vaccine.
Did 2 cows with all the treatments as they missed out last week. |

Have one of those messing days. It didn't start well as all the
heifers in the outside cubicles escaped and created mayhem, charging
about and destroying bales of straw and making a mess of the green.
It was my own fault as I hadn't fastened a gate properly. Emptied
the underground slurry tank.

Jack Father and I go and sort the heifers out up at Malham. We
bring the 14 3 year olds home and put them on the moor after giving
them all their treatments. Twelve 2 year olds stay at Malham but
in a different field on the other side of the road, They just get
"trodax" and fly pour on. We then sort the heifers out
at Wenningber, We leave eight 2 year olds there.

Took bales out everywhere. Mr & Mrs Armstrong from Ulverston
came to buy a yearling and they picked "Marina". Mervyn
and Lucy came to pick up their 4 highlands that had spent the winter
here as they were short of land.

Take a trip up to Langcliffe, I am leaving the cows up there as
long as possible as we have enough at home at the moment. I have
to bring a heifer and her calf home off the moor as the calf is
a bit feeble. Give the 7 bulls that are at home all the treatments,
Trodax,lepto, BVD and pour on.
